I think taking pictures of lotus is easy and also very difficult...
The easy part is you just need a long focal lens to take photos.
The difficult part is to find a perfect light, angle, and spot for a perfect composition. Since you cannot get close to lotus, you have to wander around the pond back and forth, up and down.
Like normal people, I took crispy clear pictures of lotus.
Somehow, I just felt something's missing...
until I recalled the "Water Lilies" by Claude Monet, one of the greatest impressionists. Suddenly, I realized photography is not all about shooting sharp pictures.
